  Joan G. Jameson Lemieux
Joan G. Jameson Lemieux was born May 27. 1924, at United Hospital in Port Chester to Harry and Rose Buschmeyer Jameson. She had one brother, Harry.
In Rye her family lived at 385 Midland Ave and were members of the Presbyterian Church. Joan grew up in Rye and was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1942.
During World War II, she joined the U.S. Navy, serving in Bainbridge, Md., attaining the rank of Yeoman 3rd Class.

Joan Jameson. 20, 11 Theodore Fremd Avenue, Rye, was graduated recently from Naval Training School Yeomen-W on the Iowa State Teachers College campus, Cedar Falls, Iowa.

In 1946, she moved to Issiquah, WA and married James LeMieux, a radioman in the Navy. They would have three children during theor marriage. While in Issiquah, Mrs. LeMieux was a homemaker.
Joan G. LeMieux, formerly of Rye and a former member, of the Navy, died of cancer Tuesday January 3, 1989 at her home in Issaquah, Wash. She was 64.
At the time of her death, in addition to her mother, of New Rochelle, and her husband, she was survived by her son, Dr. Richard LeMieux, of Castle Rock, Wash.; two daughters, Michelle Griffin, of Tacoma, Wash., and DeVonne Campbell, of Duvall, Wash. five grandchildren;-and.one. great-grandchild. Her brother, Harry G. Jameson, died before her.
